Hospice is not a place, but a concept. It is recognized as the model of quality, compassionate health care for people facing a life-limiting illness.

Our approach to hospice care is holistic. It recognizes not just the needs of the patient, but of the entire family. We focus on caring, not curing. And we help patients and families cope with some of life’s most difficult questions: “How do I cope with this illness?” “What resources are available?” “Who will support me? And who will support my family?”

We are committed to providing compassionate, respectful care that maintains our patient’s dignity. Services are individually tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes. Whenever possible, care is provided where most people prefer to be – at home. That can mean the patient’s residence, the home of a family member or friend, a life care community, or a nursing home.
